brake problems

ok so about a year ago I had a problem with my front passenger brakes, they would wear down quick. when i say quick i mean it looked as if i never even had brake pads in the front. it came to the point that i was just grinding on my rotors as i drove my car. i went to this to place to have everything fixed and spent almost 600 to get it done. now im experiencing the EXACT same problem in the EXACT same place. my front passenger brakes are completely gone. when i drove my car back home today all i could hear was a loud GRINNND as the wheel continued to turn...it was torture to my little ears . well anywho this is the second time this is happening and its bad enough i already have to pay for an 02 sensor so im kinda pissed at my car at this point. well anyway, does anybody know what the problem may be or have experienced a similar problem in the past?

Sounds like the one caliper is engaging when it shouldn't be (hence the swift pad loss).

I had a similar problem in my car a few years ago. They had to replace the caliper. FYI, you can buy an aftermarket yourself and save some money. I didn't know much about my brakes at the time and spent a little bit of money replacing calipers and a couple of rotors.

Local part stores. O'Reilly, Advanced, Pep Boys, etc. Check around. Most of these guys sell Caliper, rotor, and pad kits too.

Also you can go for aftermarket performance kits such as Wilwood.

These kits come with the same things (rotos, calipers, and pads)
P.S. Check fitment for your wheels.
