the request for independant dyno testing has already been submitted and there is a good chance they may accept. they I think are waiting to see if INJEN will respond.

either way both intakes look good

Just by looking at the design, I like the looks of this one. but I see that the MAF is right near the filter....Is the wire that long??

Gotta love the disclaimer notice.

Not sure either, I dont think I want my maf sensor sitting near the wheel well.

I think the INJEN was claiming a really high number. based on the technology claim, its theoritically possible. I guess the dyno day will decide this debate.

yea aem's claim on gains makes injen look like they are lieing, id like som reasurance on the testing . hopefuly injen jump in the mix

i had gotten an INJEN because i heard the prototype was throwing cels
and now there releasing it so im calling it throwing CELs still

^^ aluminum (or any metal) soaks and holds heat more than plastic does, thus less O2 molecules per volume of air, thus less hp.

anyway, anybody else here think that MSRP of $346.50 for 5 hp is a little much?
Even at $285, that's still $53.77 per hp, plus shipping cost on top of that...only for 5 hp.

Not worth it im my book.

5hp on a stock car, about 6 or 7 on one with a proper exhaust system. the stock exhaust criples the tq and hp of the car
