RRM Exhaust vs WORKS Exhaust

I am ready to get my first exhaust ever. I drive a 2009 GTS M/T and i am pretty much stuck between RRM axle back exhaust and the works axle back exhaust. I want to know what you guys think is better. I plan on buying locally and right now and these are my options.

1) RRM Axle Back Exhaust for $210 canadian, including shipping
2) WORKS Axle Back Exhaust $150 canadian + Shipping
3) Something Different

Which is better and also, will it be a problem that I drive a 2009 2.4 Lancer when these parts were made for the 2008 2.0 Lancer?

honestly it's whatever you want. whenever i get my exhaust i do not wish for it to sound like a coffee can so I am going to get the works exhaust. i might advise listening to sound clips of both of them to find out which you like better and then decide off of that. i dunno if i would look at anything other then the two you are though except maybe the greddy. anything above that price range is kinda just a waste.

thanks! your opinions have helped me more than you think i heard alot of people say that the works exhaust is just TOO loud...but it sounded ok to me in the sound clip. im sure there is a big difference between a video and real life, so im just so confused lol. just want to get more opinions to help my decision..

to be honest, id say get it done by an exhaust shop, you can probably order a borla, or a flowmaster pipe, and have a body shop do it for you for around 250 max, but thats just my opinion, either way you're going to have to spend money and its all gonna sound the same pretty much...

You really shouldnt base your opinion too strongly from youtube or similar videos. The quality of sound picked up by a camera microphone can be very different from what you actually hear in person. They often miss out on a lot of the bass from the exhaust note, and make them seem ricey when they really aren't.

Personally I want to get the WORKS AB, because its cheaper, weighs less(weight really matter that much, but its a plus in my book), nicer tip, and I think it sounds more aggressive.

210$ for the RRM????? WHERE???? it look like more 409$ with the shipping direct from RRM!

Personally, RRM is better because basically, it has a muffer. The Work AB is just a muffller cancellator, or a test pipe if you want. I dont know where you live but here une Quebec province police are a pain in the a... about muffler. If you wanna know how it sounds just remove your stock muffler and go for a road test (ive done it) and you are gonna see

I have the Works AB and I love the sound. Hell for the price you really cant beat it. I would have rather had the GReddy but money talks ya know. I would go with the Works

Its in the marketplace at mitsunation. ive been keepin in good contact with the guy and i dont believe its sold yet. He lives in toronto and he said 150 shipped. I bought the RRM though last night. Im loving it. Truthfully, this thing is loud enough, i think the works woulda been TOO loud for me. It was a really really tough decision though! 150 for works AB is sweet deal.

can anyone who has heard both definitively say which one is louder? I would like to get the most low key exhaust possible, because i know even one that is supposed to be quiet will be louder then stock
