you dont want to wait that long to change you oil. exspacially if your turbo as the turbo heats the oil alot putting it through more damage. 5k at most for oil changes i would rec.

Exactly what I was going to say. ESPECIALLY with turbo. Heck I wouldn't even go much over 5000 KMS on an oil change and I'm not boosted

seriously man, take care of your car. I use synthetic and am unboosted and change it between 3 and 5 thousand miles, never later than that. Changing your oil regularly goes a long way

Use Wix for oil filter. Mobile 1 is the way to go for oil.

oh I felt scared all the time right when i hit 3k for oil changes. I also change my oil filters after every oil change. i never knew the limit of how long I could actually use oil and oil filters. Good info to know

Guaranteed for 25,000 miles or one year when used in conjunction with AMSOIL motor oil in normal service.
Well they said it's gaurenteed for that amount if you use the Amsoil oil. I wonder what kind of difference the combo makes...

im in the habit of doing every 3k miles and get the oil filter done each time along with it, they are rated to last longer but just to avoid anything i do it sooner

You can reuse the oil filter, but it is not recommended. Changing the oil a lot is of course better for the car and helps pull out more horses.
