Fujita SRI SES Light Fix? Look
Fujita SRI SES Light Fix? Look
Ok so I just hit 12k miles on my car (got my intake at about 4000 miles) so i decided that maybe it was time to clean it. Nothing bad was going to happen from cleaning the filter on my intake you know...
So I used the K&N Recjharge kit...and put it back in
I noticed the intake actually got a little quitter (I was told this was good, since when your intake is cloged up, your engine trys harder to suck in air, so it sounds louder, so quitter = less work = better) But it was also a cleaner quite.
So anyway, today i was driving my car (cleaned it 2 days ago) and i wasn't really paying attention, but my SES light is gone!!! It was on for about 4 months! And I'm assuming that cleaning the filter and oiling it properly fixed the problem!!
I also have my stock o-ring on my intake...not any bigger ones or silicone like some of you others suggested.
Give it a shot! Clean your intake filter, get rid of the SES light. Let me know if it works out for you like it did for me
