Intake Manifold
Hey! I'm brand new to the forums. I got my 09' gts a couple months ago and it's on lease for now (3years). I am going crazy not being able to modify the bugger =/. But I guess when the lease is up I'll have about 6-7,000 to drop in it right away =].
ok on topic now.
I was checking the engine out the other day and was severely disappointed to find a plastic intake manifold =[. Is there any performance companies out there looking to forge a new one? that would probably be my first upgrade, I've heard horror stories about the older tiburons plastic intakes morphing/melting when the engine was driven hard for a couple hours of track play.
I know RRM did a new intake manifold for the 4g lancers...
what is your guys opinion on this?
anyone else looking for this kind of mod?

heat resistant plastic is the best choice. its not the material but the design that is important. not much can be gained at this point. a cold air does a great job of increased air flow.
