what size valve do you need when you order a intake

to my knowledge i dont think you need a valve of any sort.

a bypass valve isnt even a true valve. but yeah just go short ram intake no need to worry about valves, and it costs a little bit less.

Honestly there's very little reason to worry about it even with a CAI. You'd more or less have to submerge the filter while flooring it to create enough suction to sieze your engine...but if you want to play it safe just do what 4g63 said and get a short ram. There's next to no difference in performance. ...At least not on the butt dyno.
