Can anybody give me any feedback on the magnaflow exhaust for the 03 lancer? I dont want it too loud and the site claims +10 hp.

 

Please search, there is plenty of information available on this site. The claim is incorrect.

 

i dont know to much about the claim for 10+ hp. but what i can tell you is that it is a nice exhaust not to loud but doesnt have that raspy ricer sound either.

 

doubt about that 10hp but i used to have it (its actually on sale in the forums) and it does sound real nice, no rice to it.

 

Rice is good for you and is part of an essential diet.

 

O no doubt about that, some rice and beans especially for breakfast that's how you to do it

 

I have it. I guarantee it probably has no effect on power at all, but it sounds fantastic. Louder than stock, not droning at partial throttle, and a little bit of a burble when you rev it up.

 

I have a Magnaflow axleback exhaust and to me it sounds nice... it's a bit of noise, but not an annoying amount. I don't drive my car hard, so I only hear it a little bit, but when one of my friends drives it, it sounds pretty nice... I guess it's a combination of the exhaust and the intake together... It's all a matter of personal preference though - I didn't want a loud annoying Honda Civic sound... hope that helps

 

RMR Axel Back w/OBX headers makes ur car sound so nice!!!! Almost like a VR6 with an exhaust. Real deep rumble.

 

running an RRM header with OBX flow through cat and the maganflow 2.25" catback. Real nice low idle rumble and it stays fairly low throughout the powerband. As long as you dont bouce the redline you wont hear rice or obnoxious back fire
