"The available horsepower also rose with the addition of the basic bolt-ons, and this leads us to believe that, assuming the block is built sturdily, there is plenty of power to be extracted from this 2.0-liter engine."

What the hell import tuner saying "assuming the block is built sturdily"? The block is sturdy since it shares the same block as the 4g92 MIVEC. 4g93T, and the 4g94. With TC on the block, it will hold. The only thing that won't hold is the conrods (way too thin for TC application), stock head gasket (not strong enough to hold the psi), pistons (wasn't meant to be TC for high or creeping boost), and connecting pins. The cyl head will survive unless extreme lean condition.

ROAD RACE Turbo

We dynoed our TURBO LANCER back in November. The turbo was basically in earliest trim. Literally everything stock except turbo a 5 psi. Car made 148 h.p at the wheels vs. 103 stock. Car still had both cats and stock exhaust, stock T.B. etc... That was with baby turbo off a turbo Mirage. New setup with T-28 should more than outdo that even at same 5 psi.

T.B. is 4mm almost 5. That is max stock t.b. will allow for because of the way it is made. We bore it right to the limit.
