i would. they are usually pretty good about their parts. Just take a pic of the intake installed to show it was put in correctly and send an email to them telling em what has happened. i bet they replace it. May just charge you for shipping.

Mine fell off too. I found it in the front suspension area when I jacked up my car.

I had mine from about 3k to 18k, and the filter was falling apart and filthy! I just cut the rubber attachment part off the filter from RRM; using it as a spacer, and bought a new K&N cone filter with a 3 inch diameter on the attachment part. ( The diameter of the K&N cone filter was a little to big without attaching the RRM rubber piece) Slide the K&N filter right over the old rubber piece from the old RRM filter and used the K&N ring clamp to tighten everything done to the metal intake. Works like a charm! The K&N filter I got is actually a little bigger length wise, but same diameter as the RRM. If you have any other questions, PM me.

Just get a K&N filter to replace. Better quality IMO.

Nah, I didn't bother. If I get another one, it'll just fall off again. It still works fine. I'll prob switch over to the Injen CAI once they make one for the 2.4l or I'll switch over to the K&N sri once I see some solid numbers.

K&N is definetly better constructed. You can tell when you get the RRM filter next to a K&N. The cotton gauze RRM uses is crap compared to K&N. That is why K&N has such a great warranty; they rarely have issues from consumers like us! The funny thing is they are priced the same! Better product at the same price = LOGIC to me!
