The ECU for the engine and the AWD stuff are different ECU's. It's possible that just putting in the engine ecu could work, but without knowing if there is any cross talk between the two, there is no way to know for sure. But if you are going for the engine swap, and you manage to find a wrecked evo, u might as well strip out the drive train as well and toss that in.
