94 octane on the gts

94 octane on the gts

since i dont know too much about this , is there any problem running 94 octane on the n/a gts , i am running 91 right now with no problems , its a lille rich but would stepping up to 94 be a bad idea?

not really.....when a car says it needs 87 octane (or w/e it may be), it means it needs AT LEAST that octane...so you should be fine

i switched to 91 cuz the rrm module is tuned for 89 and its backfiring a bit more cuz its running rich so i figure if i switch to 94 it will backfire more , long as im not doing any harm

i know its a random reason to go to 94 but i like the backfire

91 is fine. Running the new Shell formula may do wonders to keep carbon deposits to a minimum on internals.
