intake manifold
I found this intake manifold looks great not plastic and smooth inside instead of the rough inside of the stock plastic manifold here is the link. the only problem i see is its for the EVO X will it fit on the GTS? http://www.maperformance.com/maperfo...x-im_rev2.html

The stock manifold isn't that bad actually, it's light weight and allows good airflow. But Regardless I dont think the lancer's is that bad unless you plan on really beefing up the motor.

10 day bump.
the "plastic" manifold has its pros & cons. but i really wish you lancer guys would step it up.
those honda boys make you look foolish with all their stock swap mods. If you want to improve your cars you really gotta quit relying on companies to do everything for you (rrm) and try some things yourselves! I dont have either 4B11 or 4B11t but if i did it wouldn't be a big deal to swap heads, manifolds, cams etc between maintenance just to help the community & see if it in deed will fit. if the heads oil & water passages line up the evo head should work! as for the diff with mivec we could use stock cam to avoid further complication. I see no reason the Intake manifold wont bolt right up might have some extra vacuum lines or sensor. same goes for the turbo manifold. If we could get some solid answers on these I feel it will only further the potential of the lancer. personally cant wait to see a 4B11t fwd swap........... all the go you could ever need
i'll post any info i find here, just trying to spark more interest in modding these cars
