Thumbs up Looking for a Cat-back system for your lancer, click here

Here is the website

Here is the website for VRS Exhaust. I just got mine installed today and it's great. It has a nice deep sound and offers a good power increase. It's much better then RMR of RRM. This VRS cat-back system is $320.00. If you call them for info mention my name, Bruno. Thanks a lot.

Is the piping that big or are the tires just that tiny?

Somewhat narrow tires and the angle the pic was taken at. Looks like my 2.5". At least his muffler's seated properly though.

Question: that piping looks ALL straight through, no cats and no resonators? Anyone care to comment? Plus...that tail pipe extends a bit to far for my tastes.

Definitely no resonater, can't tell about the cat in the pic though. Having no resonator will just make things that much louder.

Is the O2 Sensor still in if not wont the engine light stay on I like the system just wondering that and if you could install yourself it should not be that hard if the pipe is already bent.

Won't have an O2 sensor problem because the sensors are both before the 2nd cat.

Piping = very good
Muffler = very GAY

I would suggest to all you guys who want mandrel bent custom cat backs to wait until RRM comes out with theirs. I saw it at thier shop, looks tight and is 100% mandrel bent which means way better air flow.

my .02

Well, looking at the webpage provided in the first post, it's probably 2.5" inches in diameter and it has no cats...and no resonators. It is quite literally a pipe, that's mandrel bent with pretty thick flanges (almost 1/2") and made of stainless steal. The prices seems right for what you get.

Honestly the only thing I was looking at was the fact that this car seems to have the driveshaft tunnel already...even the mounting holes. I thought the non-awd had different floorpans, but if this is already setup, maybe the AWD conversion wouldnt be as hard as originally thought.
I guess it would take someone like RRM to confirm this.
