boost and the 4b11

Getting ready to bolt on my turbo and wanted to get some advice. I'm using a evo x turbo min amount of boost is 11psi. do you think the stock compression using 93 octane would hold up or should i run 100 octane?

Too much boost, no matter what octane rating gas you are using. VERY DANGEROUS.

I would run 8-9 MAX! Curious as to why you have to run a min of 11psi on?

External wastegate + Manual boost controller! Do not use the internal wastegate with the Evo X turbo. Or get the ralliart turbo. I'm sure you can get one + cash for the X turbo you have.

external wastgates are just soo much money..lol. ralliart turbo wont bolt up to the evo x manifold which means i have to completely redo my whole setup. what about lengthing the actuator arm to lower the boost?
