It's not a waste if going NA route. Stock trim, it will walk away any fellow LS coupe. The TQ rating of 130 is nothing to laugh about comparing to 116. Besides, it doesn't have the balloned weight of any lancer. My auto LS weights 2330 by the DOT . . . his is manual. The weight of the G94 to G93 shouldn't be that much, just off-setting a bit.

Also, it proved a point for guys with a G15. It's a cheaper alternative upgrade. No one can DROP 4-6 grand for TC or other forced induction.

For R&D purposes, Adam has achieved something that no mitsu engineering was bold enough to do or achieve. I always believe there are always trailblazers. They are willing to challenge convential thinkers. That car should be fun to drive.

Adam, what camera or image enchancing programs are you using? I always see you have crystal clear pics. I have paint shop pro 6. It does a decent job, but it can't be done this great.

Wow, spool. I remember when you used to have conversations.

Are you sure you're not the second? Someone posted about having finally finished theirs a few weeks ago...unless that was you too.

EDIT: NM. Looks like ie was you.

6A12 in a lancer? MIVEC version is tougher to find. Chances are the non MIVEC verisions are abundant, not as abundant as euro spec G93 pumping about 120-125 HP stock.

I'll have to agree with Baha. This car has got to feel like a fresh breeze. With a 2200 pound usual weight and the addition of 30 more hp this car should feel like no other mirage.

Congrats again AdamJ

I did respond to your first thread also.

I forgot to ask if it was a simple bolt in? did you have to customize anything?

how difficult was the install? was it pretty much a true swap with no custom work needed?

Thanks all... I won the motor off Ebay for 100 bucks like i said once before...it has 3000 Miles on it came with an auto trans and all the accessories... after i got it i fixed it up and compared things to my 1.8(4G93) sensors and over-all layout and swaped it over...The motor is now running of the 4G94 Ecu thu My original 1.8 Auto Harness the header and Downpipe matched up directly to the Cat so nothing was done there the timing belt covers needed to be changed i need the lancer harness also to make use of the knock sensor, the intake manifold has the same sensors aside from the TPS throttle position sensor which has a different conector less the cruise control lead thats on the mirage other than that it bolted right up although it does stick up about 1/2-1" about the 1.8 which was why i had to remove the cruise control tophat but overall the swap worked out great. At first the car didnt start but that was result of me tring to use the 1.8 Cam Sensor Vs the 2.0 it needed.....so the car went from a 1.8 auto to a 2.0 Manual i thot it was worth it... car runs hard as hell now with no mods other that Exhaust, Intake, Plugs, Wires, and High Flow Cat and Act Clutch.... I still have to put the 2nd O2 sensor in and should see something from that hopefully(especially in gas Milage)...cant wait to get extractors and RRM ecu...

Thank Bahmet- I used a Sony (something) and just recored it in the highest level and highest Resolution and thats clear then i shrink it down and it makes it even better...works out well...

what's your DPI on the camera?

I've mine set at 1600*1200, and it still can't get as crisp as yours. Of course, my digi camera is about 3-4 yrs old.

Don't quit with headers and ECU! With an intake manifold and T.B. that thing will dominate! Nice work.

BTW, $100 for an engine??! that's a deal of a century.
