My NEW Bolt-On's

These parts are about 2 be installed this weekend. Im NOT really trying 2 race it just a very good "GAS SAVER" and little HP on it. Turbo? NO! I rather stay N/A (Naturally Aspirated) Like i said quick bolt-on's :

Injen Short Ram Intake W/ Hydro-Shield Water Repellant (Installed)
RRM Lightweight Pulley (Installed)
RRM Ported & Powder Coated Intake Manifold
RRM Bored Throttle Body
OBX Headers (2PC) 4-2-1
Energy Suspension (Complete) Bushings (Installed)
Top Line Head Gasket
Top Line Water Pump 1999cc
Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust System
Magnaflow High-Flow Catalytic Converters
Gates Racing Coolant Hose (Radiator Hose)
Gates Racing Timing Belt (Installed)
Magnecor Spark Plug Wires (Installed)
NGK Iridium IX (Installed)
NTK O2 Sensor (Installed)
Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump
Apexi (Universal) Grounding Wires
Apexi I-Moni (Digital 3-way Gauge) Water Temperature, RPM, Voltage, Speed, and Intake Temperature.

Nothing big. Just bolt-on's. Dont want 2 waste $$$$ on turbo set-up. If i was going 4 "BOOST" i want 2 do it the right way. Fully built but, its NOT worth "TURBO'ING" an A/T car. Daily Beater.

I thought energy suspension did not make a bushing kit for the lancer? Did you use the universal one? If so you got a part number?

you know the bolts ons probably didnt give you anymore power then before maybe 5hp , they likely just moved the powerband lower ....

the only way to go on these is turbo or supercharger

How do you like the gates belt ? I installed mine and the noise was driving me nuts

If he is going for gas saver he will know a difference me and my sister both own lancer's mine is a 02 hers was a 03 and I before turbo was getting 5-10 more mpg then her normally toward the 10mpg. But I also have done weight reduction to my vehicle. But I could defiantly tell a difference in mpg once I started modding as long as I stay away from WOT.

Gates Racing Timing Belt was fine w/ me. No noise or any clacks... Just sounds like it needs to rev more. Maybe u need 2 adjust the timing or tighten the bolts?

I so can't wait till that "gas saving", "save the planet" bs is over and done with.

Cars aren't meant to save gas. They were built to burn gas!

Piggybacks are now obsolete and not the best mod for the money. EcuFlash is the best tuning solution and best mod for the money for any Lancer, hands down, second to only a full standalone EMS that will set you back almost $1000. People are scrambling to sell them now that all Lancers can run an Evo ECU's ROM and have all the tuning potential that Evos have.

Most people dont know how to tune, and want something quick and already set up.

Piggybacks still need to be tuned. Anyone that says that a tune will work with any Lancer it is installed on is sorely mistaken.

I remember a slightly heated discussion around that
