hi, i have a question.

i couldnt really find the right place to post this so i came here, sorry if its not in the right spot. But i was wondering if you all just bought your parts online and if so, did you install them yourselves, or do you bring it to a car mechanic?

I think that answer is gonna differ for each person depending where you are in the US. people with access to performance shops (like me) can just go 2 blocks down the street and order the same things you can get online for about the same prices without shipping. I personally have bought my exhaust and intake from my local shop, and with help from a few kids, we put on my intake. With a couple hundred dollars to meineke, they welded on my cat back exhaust. It's really up to you, if you think you can handle the mechanics, put the stuff on urself, the only problem is if it breaks, ur screwed. A mechanic is a good way to go if you dont wanna do it urself.

well....

If you are mechanically inclined, you should do it yourself. It would save you some money for install work. Bolt ons, like intakes, etc. are relatively easy to install if you can turn a wrench and follow instructions. My .02 worth.
