maybe buying a 02 lancer

so im new to lancers, i used to have a 99 subaru legacy gt but got totaled last week since old people dont know how to drive down in florida im planning to check out an 02, has 86k asking $4500. its gonna be weird going from an awd car to a front wheel drive. i plan on doing the basic mods. intake, headers/exhaust system and maybe lower it but my rims from my legacy are still good, i brought them brand new for $386 not even a month ago but sadly they are 5 lugs so im gonna try trading for 4 lugs or sell them so i can buy a set of rims. how do you guys like your lancers? worth it? basic problems with it? the one im getting is a 5sp, the only way i roll

well funny thing is i just got an 02 wrx a month ago. lol. anywho..

its not the best platform to mod but yes it can be done. the car really wont respond well to bolton mods but if you wanna make power yu pretty much have to go turbo. theres a lot of threads on that and if you wanna swap evo parts check my sig. i have compiled quite a list of parts that are "swappable." i love the subie on how it handles but nothing beats a non evo lancer thats turboed at the line with a bunch of hon-duh's.
