Question Tornado thing?

Someone once told me about some weird thing called the "Tornado" or "Cyclone" or something like that... They said it's supposed to fit in your air intake and increase your HP. Has anyone else ever heard of it? If so, what is it? What does it do? And does it really work? If so, would it work for a Lancer?

no no no and no, and search for this because it's got like 8 threads now..

basically, it's of little to no benefit, and could potentially blow up your engine if it broke and the metal went flying into the cylinders

gotcha

Gotcha, now I know and knowing is half the battle. I guess I didn't search hard enough. Thanks though... I'll be sure to run right out and buy one! Or maybe I'll just make one... you know... with a Coke can or something!

I know that it just sucks the money out of your pocket. SCC tried to get a tornado dealer to do a comparison and the guy bugged out on them. Evidently, the dyno that dealer used was a antique by today's standard and it depended on the operators experience to get somewhat accurate numbers which, would not hold a fart if it was done on a newer dyno. Don't buy it.
