[Evo 8/9] exhaust system question

[Evo 8/9] exhaust system question

will this fit the es model? idk if the control arms are the same, the way the exhaust is bent over, i know i have to bring it to a shop and have it welded but for $100 u cant beat it

I doubt it would fit, and besides its 3" piping, your best bet is to measure your existing exhaust and see if it would fit. Good luck to ya tho. (BTW, go cheaper than 100$ if you actually plan on buying it I wouldn't pay more than 70 bucks, even if it did fit.)

no the evo has different control arms than the es, your best bet is to get a full custom exhaust like I did, they took a steel pipe bent it so it would fit specically for my car and they welded a magnaflow muffler on the end of it so basically its a straight pipe through and it sounds good. you can check out my youtube vid

my old mechanic installed a 2.25 inch pipe in my car, you can always request biggerbut 2.25 is big enough for me and it can handle the setup I have

I forgot to mention you can get some exhaust of ebay I think its called N1 im not a big fan of ebay mufflers but they do sound good but like I said not my type. basically you can disconnect your muffler and it should bolt right on to your exhaust

well this kinda sucks, i know about ebay not so bad of a price but im gonna check in with the muffler shop here
