take it real easy at first, NO hard pulls at all for like 200 miles, just ease into the throttle and no high shifts, and don't boost on it, after about 200 miles start easing into boost, basic in town driving, no hard pulls yet for another 200 miles

another thing you dont want to do, is while taking long trips keep the same throttle, vary it, go to half, then down to quarter, then up again, remember to keep an eye on your oil the whole time jsut in case, and change it after 500 miles, and youll be ready to rip

p.s. any questions jsut let me know, i had to break the JE's in with my turbo too

Treat it just like new car.

Check the oil for metal shavings as well. Doubt you'll have any, but better safe than sorry.

Oh, and I'm glad someone else knows that Pepsi is an essential part of all installs.

Don't use synthetic oil for the break-in becuase its to slick and will take like 3,000 miles for the rings to seat. (don't know if you are a synth or dino guy, but just a precaution) Drive it like its brand new like hobie said.

He said about $1,400.

$711 for the rods, and I believe the pistons are from RRM. I think I'm ordering soon. Gonna hurt. It'll be great in the long run though.

I'm getting a beater. I don't intend to do all my engine work in the dead of winter in an unheated garage without electricity anyway. I'm crazy, not stupid.
