Got my RPW Alutec Pulley (couple of pics and lols)

delivered yesterday. spent 161 shipped because i bought it from a member who was in a group buy at 9g. he got an RA and decided to sell it even though it would fit on his RA.
And for the lols, if you notice on the pulley it says "nodizing" not anodizing. its the same on the product picture on the rpw site.

it was discussed on 9g that it was a typo. rpw meant to say .855 kilograms which is 1.88 lbs. the stock one weighs a little over 4 lbs. when i first saw that claim on their site i knew it was wishful thinking, if it was true then it would weigh .00188 lbs. lol

about the install if you have not done it yet. i installed my RRM pulley and it took about 10 min. Just make sure you have the impact hammer and DO NOT over tighten

Woo enjoy your solid crank pulley and phantom knock. There's a reason why everyone in the evo world goes from the stocker to a fluidampr, and not something like the perrin lightweight solid aluminum pulley for example...

from what i understand, aftermarket pulleys that are not balanced and dampened tend to lead to problems due to vibrations it made. the alutec pulleys are balanced and dampened to minimize any potential problems. as with any modification there is always inherent risk. but I've research many pulleys, read my topics on the subject; the knowledge that i gained makes me feel confident that I might not need to worry too much.
thanks for your input though, ill be mindful of it

Here is what it looks like installed:

I noticed that my car rev's quicker than before & seems to accelerate a little better as well.
This of course is on my 2010 GTS Sportback with everyones favorite....CVT

I have since put on over 4K on my odometer & there hasn't been any issues what-so-ever.

This was my 1st time ever doing something like this & it was really quite simple.

That's a well designed pulley. I dig it.
