new junkyard motor, flywheel access plate?

got a new motor from the junkyard and once i got it in i noticed a plate missing on the bottom of the motor. it looks like a flywheel access hole of some kind. any idea what this plate might be called or where to find one? i assume it is needed. without it there is a big hole that you can see the flywheel through. any help would be great. thanks!

Yup you got it its a plate to access the torque converter bolts if your auto. No clue what its called though lol. Only two options for that peice is a dealership and they can look it up on a diagram or hit the junkyards again for that peice.

ok another question. routing water hoses and the hose that comes out of the firewall and connects to the head, there is a line that comes off of that connection and i can't seem to find a hose that connects to it. is it a purge hole? does a hose connect there?

as you can see, that hose comes from the firewall and i have no idea what to do with that other port lol.

That goes to your throttle body. If you look on your throttle body there are two hose connections on the bottom, one further towards the firewall and the other more towards the front. These run coolant through your throttle body to warm it up faster on cold starts. The hose connection you pictured goes to the one more towards the front. You do not have to use it but if you dont you MUST block it off or you will have coolant flying everywhere.
