How can i tell if my car is fed spec or low admissions?

 

If u have a dual cat , check the exhaust manifold theres one and then check the ehxaist pipe there is another cat and the resonator if u have all 3 then u r a pzev

 

actually there are 2 resonators. So if you have 2 cats and 2 resonators, its PZEV. 1 cat and 2 resonators, FED. the second cat is located basically right after the manifold, where the runners meet. I believe there is also an O2 sensor in that cat as well, so you could easily tell if it was a cat.

The other way to tell is to look at the sticker/plaque on the passenger side of the car, when you open the door on the lower B-pillar. I forget the scheme, but a certain letter/number would mean FED, and a different letter/number would mean PZEV.

 

Well the motor is out of the car and wanted to know if there was a difference

 

No diff in the engine but i know i have a pzev and i had 2 cats and 1 resonator now i dont have only a resonatot with the o2 bung so it wont trow cel
