08 Lancer ES

I have 156K considering selling but I am unsure. I have had it now for 6 years and only major things that I had issues with is idle which I replaced an o2 sensor and cleaned my throttle body and it seemed to solve the problem .

My car is noticeable sluggish. I run it stock with iridium plugs. I would like to keep it for 4 more years if I can but I dont know how it will hold up. All of my mileage is mostly highway, as i do very little city driving. I am worried about the engine and transmission. Does any one know how long these cars usually last?

I think I have kept pretty decent mantience on it. My current issues with it now are :

-Need new Battery or Starter...?
-Horn used to go off with out warning so i removed the fuse...now i have no horn
-MPG is down
-A little sluggish

So far it has been good to me but I'm looking at the years to come...Should I keep it until it can't go anymore or should I be looking for a new car?

Purchasing a 2008 GTS Lancer. Thoughts?

Hi all!

Looking for an opinion here. Wanting to purchase a 2008 Lancer GTS at 105,000 Miles or 170,000 Kilometers.

Anyone drive their lancer past this type of mileage?

Dealer is looking to sell it for about $8500.

Thanks!

09 Lancer GT-Purchased Sept 25, 2008: 231km
To date Apr 20 2015: 143547km

So far she's still going strong, nothing wrong except sometimes I think my tranny whines a little bit but that's just cuz I drive it like I stole it sometimes. Excellent car, durable, it's best feature I'm sure.

I have 151k miles on my 2010 GTS; what are the expected lifetimes for these vehicles? This vehicle is well maintained, but I'm still curious to know what issues these cars typically have at higher mileages?

2011 gts at 50k the only thing thats gone wrong was all my bushings sway bar/end link/control arm all needed some compressed air and some white lithium grease to end the high pitch door closing sounding squeak from all the sand it accumulated from the winter. And my headunit stopped sending signal to my amp so i have no music im my car. Other than that she still runs like shes a year old with regular fluid changes and tlc
