im just wanting to add some horsepower to my lancer, what are the best bolt on things i can get to help out the engine?
its an auto btw and if switching to a manual is the best how can i do that and how much?

Read the link in my sig. Its long but a must read. Our engine do not respond to simple bolts ons, $1000 worth of bolt on mods might gain you 5 peak whp if your lucky. Read through my thread and other turbo threads on here (Zulu989, Ryancb, Steven121, Hornstarbu and many others) Most of us used evo 8 16g turbo due to there inexpensiveness to get good quality used OEM turbos. I highly suggest reading these thoroughly though before asking more questions because 95% of them will be answered in there and most will simply post "use the search button" since there is soooooooo much info on here.

 

If you're planning to stay N/A, it's gonna get really expensive really quick. Emphasizing what 03Lances said, Turboing your car is the most cost effective, HP per dollar, modification you can do to your car.
