I am currently running the Greddy Cat Back, Injen CAI, and Test Pipe. If anything I noticed better gas mileage as I added these Items. I drove from NJ to Myrtle Beach this summer at 12:00 midnight and got almost 400+ miles to the tank. Not bad at all. It was nightime and the air was clear. Plus I was cruising around 90 the whole way.

thanks for all the replies

but another question has comed to mind after someone said something about a burned out 02 sensor.

Since im running the kamikiazke header, and there is no o2 sensor, could the ECU just be confused and adding more fuel that it should thus cuasing bad gas mileage and some other problems?

That could be the problem since you don't have an O2 Sensor. It's probably making your ECU all confused.

Yup. With no O2, your car could very well be pumping extra gas into the chamber and running rich (that's what my car did). When you combine that with the open system you have, you could easily be LITERALLY spitting gas out the tailpipe. But that's just a guess, I'm no mechanic.

lol damn ECU!

well, since there is no o2 sensor hole! only dis - advantage of kamikaze. But, i've kind of been thinking if i get the MIL Elimenator, will that tell the ECU that the o2 sensor is working properly or will it just tell it whatever so the SES light turns off?

Because in the long run i just want the SES light to turn off while having the o2 sensor working properly.

Best option... hmmm.

To me, the best option would be to find a high-flow cat that lets you plug in the O2 sensor (Buschur maybe?). You'll get back some backpressure and not waste as much gas. And having the O2 sensor will cause you to stop running so rich. I think between the backpressure and the functioning O2, that would solve a lot of the gas issue.

Bear in mind, this is my opinion, I could be wrong.

Oh. Well, I still recommend a high flow cat instead of a test pipe just for backpressure. As for the first O2 sensor, I don't know what to advise about that - I'll be sticking with the stock exhaust manifold until I get some cash.

lol, i just tested it and i got roughly 155miles per the tank.

i guess its not as horrible as i thought. i mean you get 170 with your tank and your tank on your p/u truck is probably a bigger gas tank, keep in mind we have small little gas tanks.

my friend gets 170 with his firebird and he has a 16 gallon tank,so its all about the same.

You should be able to take the header off and get a shop to weld a bung in the header to fit the O2 sensor.

Yup, and it shouldn't cost much either. $10-20 tops.
