possible: Yes cost effective: No,

You would easily spend that 4500 again trying to get that engine to work, so for 9K you would probably get it to work.

lol, ya 9k is way too much, but if it was just that 4,500 and maybe another 500-1000 for installation and everything would be ok then that would be hella nice but for 9k or so i would just put it down on an evo and be a lot happier

well my suggestion is......... with that $ they're asking for.. and what your car is worth... thats at least 10K total right there... you can get a killer deal just buying an evo 8! now thass Logic!

Just remember that with an engine such as that (which is an Evo III or earlier), that it is rotated 180 degrees from our car, so everything from custom mounts, custom axles, custom wiring... basically everything custom, which will probably take you over 9 Gs right there.

ya thx, im almost sure im going to sell my car summer to mid fall and get an evo, i could afford an evo now by myself, with my part time job, but the only thing holding me back is the insurance, insurance for me, being 17 yrs old for an evo is like 2.5 times the monthly payments. hopefully for a graduation present my parents are going to put a small down payment for me and pay the insurance.

$4,500 is in the range of prices for front clips, not motors w/ trannies.
