Whats the difference between my stock 03 OZ engine and the one in the new 04 ralliarts?

 

different engine and about 40 horses.

 

And variable valve timing.

 

Totally different motors. displacement, bore, stroke, block is different, head is different....What in particular are you looking to find out?

 

If you are looking to swap components, it wont work (as in mating one part of that engine, liek the head, to yours)... if yo uare looking at a complete swap, then theoretically it would. It faces the same way, and would be a nice little swap for us.

Unfortuantely, no one has tried it yet and the engines are still new so therefore supply will be low and price tag sky high.

 

You read my mind. I was initialy wondering what good an engine swap would do. I figured they couldn't be that different so it would be simple. I don't like the way the rallyarts look but the 160 hp engine would look nice in my oz. And then if i wanted to add a turbo i'd already be adding on a decent hp so it'd be even better. But bear in mind i was just wondering, i realize i don't have the $$$, and it be hard to find an engine outside a dealership.
