Headers!
Headers!
i know everyone talks about this but the answers are so inconclusive!. could some one just help me out with a simple recommendation... i have an auto lancer that i do not plan on turbo charging... what would be best: kamikaze, rrm, or rpw headers? i want something that wont make my check engine light come on and wont make weird noises... thanks a lot.. chris
yeah if you get headers expect a cel... but u can get a miliminator er watever that was called... if i remember right there was a group buy for the kamikaze headers and it came with it
You've just listed the two downsides of headers as the things you don't want. My suggestion: don't get a header.
Your exhaust note WILL change, your car MAY sound significantly louder and will probably sound "ricey", and when you remove the warmup cat from your exhaust you WILL throw a CEL sooner or later.
Your car, your call. Don't be suprised if/when this thread is merged with the other threads. There's really no need to have 15 threads all asking the same questions.

Ya - your car will throw the CEL with any headers, not matter what. But the MIL ELIM. is like 15$ i think from
www.bigjoshracing.com . so you can get that and be fine. I would personally go with the Kamizaki or the RPW headers. They both come with a DP im pretty sure. I know people say you dont need one and it makes no extra HP but if it comes with it for the same price, why not?
