4g93t gdi engine and transmission swap into a 2003 lancer es

Hey everyone I've hear that every 4g9x parts are interchangeable so I imagine the swaps would be the same right? But my question is what all would I need to swap out the 4g94 my lancer and replace it with the jdm 4g93t gdi anything will help I've looked in a lot of forums and heard people up here actually know what they're talking about

Why would you wanna swap the 4g93t GDI into the lancer? You could get more power by just putting a turbo on the 4g94. You could also bolt the 4g93E head to it. If you're serious about a motor swap. May want to look into doing a 4g64 or a 4g69 swap

if you're doing 4G64 or 4g69 get a 4g63 head...then turbo manifolds will be a dime a dozen...or just get a 2.0L 4g63T

f you do a 4g64 swap, you'll just have to custom make the passenger side motor mount and you will have to swap your transmission gears Into the 4g64 manual transmission. Then you can use your stock axles. Like cranswick said, you can just use and Evo head or a Kia head to make it DOHC. If you look in the turbo build thread. There's a really nice 4g64 turbo build getting done with all the info you need

The 4g93e head people used is from a company I believe in Austrailia. I think someone used a mirage head as well

transmission has nothing to do with the motor, so, it should be ok...

well 1st off, i can personally tell you its a pain in the A$$ cuz its slighlty larger thatn the sohc but it does fit, 2nd problem ur gonna have is the fuel system, the 4g93 gdi turbo comes with electronic throttle opposed to mechanical throttle and it also has a returnless fuel system so goodluck, i've been stuck for a couple weeks now and have to come up with something , if not im out of $900....plus the only trannys that bolt up to this engine are evo 1-6 awd, the stock tranny from a lancer cedia or an eclipse 4g64 manual tranny, ..and the bits and pieces go on and on...

any 4G9 engine block should have the same bolt pattern as any other, no? for the returnless system, they are easier to switch to, than they are to switch from the rail should have come with the motor...for engine control, you probably need the harness and ECU for the 4G93 as well...

Yes but the fly by wire throttle system is incompatible with the wiring system in the naturally aspirated lancer/mirage...therefore making it difficult to swap over the manual throttle to the gdi motor to get it 2 wrk plus in works in synchro with the automatic transmission from the gdi turbo motor...it goes on an on..i kinda regret going this rout and buying this swap but i guess i gotta figure it out or im just gonna sell it and go 4g69 and build 4rm that..
