Me and my husband are repairing a clutch on a 2003 es Lancer 2.0 5 speed. We are running into some problems there are three plates that go on to the clutch and we are unsure as to what order they go in . We have been trying to find schematics for the clutch assembly but have been unable to find any. Another question we had was if the fingers of the pressure plate contact the clutch plate or if one of those plates go in between them . Please help we are having so many problems

I believe your talking about the thin plates that help center the clutch with the clutch tool? I don't think those plates have a particular order but they do help center the clutch. I think the clutch should be touching the plate? When you press in the throw out bearing the clutch disengages from the pressure plate. That's how the power is put to the wheels.

Need picture, are you talking about flywheel shims?
