02 lancer oil pressure sensor broke engine block
I don't actually think it's the block that broke more like a housing but I was taking the oil pressure switch out and it broke the entire port. I jb welded it but I'm very skeptical. I was going to seal off the port if the JB doesn't hold but my question is, can I just tap the sensor into the oil filter housing or is there somewhere else it can be added?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post I picture up of what you have going on. And they make sandwich plates you could use to relocate the sensor sending unit to a new place any place that gets oil pressure would be fine. Though I would not drill and tap a new hole as that will be putting metal shavings straight into your oil passages.

I will get a picture up shortly, basically I broke a nice chunk off where the oil pressure switch screws in . Im wondering if I could remove the plug on the oil filter housing and install the sensor in that hole with an adapter but not sure what size adapter is needed. Or maybe even install sensor to another known oil pressure location.
