Boost without Turbo on 2012 ES

Sup fellas,

I know turbo is the way (and the only way for some) but, I want to just have more kick without dropping a lot of $$$. So, with that said, does anyone have a perfect set up?

I want to build my car to run faster than stock without spending money on converting the car into turbo (NO TURBO, No look alike, just straight up engine before bigger pistons or porting the block)

What I have been thinking has been the following:

- Injen CAI
- ETS Intercooler or another brand but still not sure
- Injen 60mm Axle Back Exhaust System or
- CNT 2012-2014 Lancer DE / ES / GT Axle Back Exhaust blue tip FWD only (SP elite style) or
- Tsudo PZEV Catback Exhaust System - Lancer ES 2008-2011
- Headers: still not sure if needed but if so, which one would be good, anyone?

So, if anyone can help out, that would be great!

Peace!

Clearly if you notice when I wrote:

NO, I do NOT want my car to be turbo but, I do want some kick. In other words, NOT turbo.

What's your budget and how much are you looking to gain in hp?

"not a lot of $$$" and "some kick" is really arbitrary.

Realistically you're looking at $1000+ for a 15hp gain worse case scenario with intake, headers, exhaust, and tune.
