Which exhaust system?
I know nothing about exhausts and if I should replace the factory exhaust on my '04 OZ w/auto trans. What exhaust would be a great improvement.? What improvements would it give me? What is a catback exhaust vs a standard exhaust?

I would say you should go with a Magnaflow catback exhaust. Best bang for your buck if you are looking for an aftermarket catback exhaust system for your ride.
Difference between say a catback and a "standard" exhaust is the upgraded exhaust that Magnaflow makes is all 2.25" piping a specifcally tuned poished muffler and a 3.5" poished dual walled tip. The sound is a deep, throaty sound and not raspy like a lot of those honda's you hear on the road that throw a cheap ebay muffler on there car.
www.roadracemotorsports.com sells the magnaflow catback and they also offer an axle back system which utilizes a Magnaflow muffler and there own piping. Cheaper, but less money than a full catback system.
