Has anyone tried any sort of ignition system on a lancer?
is one more efective than an other. money isnt an issue, and i plan to go turbo in the future.

 

No ignition system works out of the box for the Lancer. Run a search and you'll find some old threads on the subject. Was originally hypothesized that an MSD SCI would work but it won't be cause of the Lancer's coils.

 

also the msd-dis system was attempted and fried all ignition in the lancer, so ur prolly gonna have to wait for aftermarket coil packs then do the dis system

 

Heeeeeeey...that's what I meant to type. Good catch. Only real ignition mod are the Magnecor wires which I forgot to mention. importlancer has got 'em and seemed to have written a good review.

i has a 2003 us lancer not a 99, i belive they have diffrent motors?

So What im hearing is no ignition system works effectivly on the us lancer
