Rpw..yes Or No

I'm debating on getting the RPW stage 1 cam for my Lancer OZ. I've emailed VISION several times about the cam...but I haven't gotten any responses from them. Could someone give me some ideas to gains and performance of the Stage 1 cam. Also, is there a nice sound difference. I had toda cam in my b18 in my integra.....the cam sounded great. Just wondering, cause I love hearing cars cam nicely.
Let me know, POST'EM UP....THANX

If you want to read more before making the purchase, run a search. I know pjal got his installed most recently. I have the RPW header/downpipe and once it's time to get a cam I'm looking their way first!

I'm looking forward to the RPW products...just unsure about the cam and how well the power output will be with auto.

I have an auto also. Not sure of the difference in gain between manual vs auto.

If you want a quick response from Vision call up. Trust me, it'll get you much better results.

They definitely don't respond to emails. I called once, and the guy was like the rpw header was 4 something. I'm like, dude it say 3something on your webpage. He was like, I don't know. I'll have to check it out. So I'm not liking them right now and they might lose a buyer. I was planning on gettting either stage 1 or 2 cam, the valve springs and the header. But I dont know about those guys now. Dude I was talking to wasn't even gonna cut me a deal on anything. I wasn't trying to get the crap for free, but usually when I buy stuff from other shops and I buy in bulk...they give me some kind of deal.

I was thinking of getting the stage 2 camshaft, fuel pressure regulator, valve springs, and headers from RPW. Then i started to think about it and for the price of all of that i could go with there pistons and raise the comp ratio to 10.5.1. I figure that doing that will probably give equal results but will cost a bit more. Can you order from them directly btw?

Vision worked very well for me when I ordered up my cam and when I was curious about some other stuff they were listing. Responded within a day or two of all my emails and took the time to answer even all my harrowing questions.

Well, I was talking to En1gma today....he made me change my mind. I will be getting the stage 1 cam. But instead of NA horsepower, like back in my honda days....I'm going for boost with I/C. It will be easier and less hassle and should get more gains with boost anyways.
