What's squirting it out is the nitrous purge valve. It's a show effect more than anything. Do you just want the look or a genuine nitrous system? If you're gonna go for it, a "dry" kit is what you want to look at and make sure you get all the goodies. A good read before you do anything: http://www.importtuner.com/tech/0205it_nitrous/

EDIT: One of the benefits of being well read in import tuning is knowing that you know you saw something somewhere else: http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/tech/0203ht_nx/

That's the article that goes into great depth at displaying how to properly install a nitrous system. Got to remember sometime that HT and I2R are separate magazines

I've been debating the same thing for some time now. We'll see, maybe a 50 shot for Christmas?

Just remeber Nitrous isnt a fuel, and if you dont add more fuel while spraying in the "NOS" then you will damage your engine..

pjal: isn't the "wet" system will give you to ability to add more fuel into the mix to create a safer environment for the engine combustion???

Just wondering, and I'm not expert in NAWWWZZZ

from what i understand about nos is wet is best dry can kill most nos companys claim with our size and type of engines a shot betwen 40 and 70 hp will do minimal damge to the car so i would go wet 40 to 70 hp then agin i wouldent go at all cause nos is like crak for ure engine really fast high then u need more mean while ure screwen everythin up inside so i guess if i did crack i would use nos but sence i dont do crack i dont do nos

yeah Paul...I would definetly not recommend a dry setup. Wet 50 shot is about the limit, 75 shot is probably gonna cost ya an engine in under a year.

The safest way to run nitrous on a lancer is with a wet system. i know this becasue i am running a 50 shot nitrous system on my lancer. Nitrous express has a wet system for the lancer. cost me $560 and then i got the GEX-x2 add ons which were $400. it came with every thing heater, purge valve, nitrous gauge, safety swithces,10lb bottle, all the fittings and hardware. absolutley everything only took like 3 hours to install. worth it if you ask me
