Just Ordered KAMKIKAZE Headers Any Tips?
Just Ordered KAMKIKAZE Headers any one have any good tips for when I install them Any Tips? I did a search and all I could find was the info about the far left bolt.
the only other thing you need to know is to get locking washers when you connect the top portion of the header to the downpipe section (in between). kamikaze provides you with just the nuts and bolts, but they tend to come loose after a month or so of driving. members on here have had the same thing happen to them. just add some locking washers, and your good to go. everything else is pretty straight foward. good luck with the install. the header is awesome.
whered u order them from?
does it come with a downpipe and if it does can u still use a hi-flo cat?
just curious...ya know...
i think i want Kami headers w/downpipe(if not ill get..) the buschur downpipe and buschur exhaust

So you didn't get a CEL before the MIL? Where did u get the MIL? How hard was it to put in? I'm a amature when it comes to cars.

bigjoshracing.com I think they are like 25-35 bucks. But worth every penny. Plus it comes with a how to install MIL paper. its a great thing to have. Otherwise you can always unhook your bat. but thats more hasle than its worth.

tya the headers are bad ***, good gain - but my biggest problem was made the car really loud (especially with a test pipe) and then it was kind of a ricey sound to me. But it all depends on your catback portion of your exhaust.
ya know.....i still haven't put that gahdamn thing on. i'm about ready to take it to a shop and say "loosen that nut for me and i'll be back in an hour for you to tighten it up."
lol good luck!
