high flow cat

does anyone know the effects of leaving on the road race motorsports high flow cat (test pipe) on their lancer? It says to keep your old cat for highway use, is there anything wrong with just leaving it on?

can you feel a difference with the test pipe, catback, and short ram installed ?? besides being louder

I hooked up a old dress up air filter that was on my nova...fit perfectly on the mas.....but i wouldnt want to leave it on...might vibrate off since it really doesnt feel like it sits on right...but it already has the cavalier boys sweating here in Pekin....lol...and it is a backwoods mod

cant wait till tax time baby...I think Ill be calling rock quite a bit ordering parts...i figured up almost $1200 worth after sales tax

soon to be mine
short ram $150
test pipe $70
catback exhaust $270
Eibach Prokit $200
Strutbar k vers $140
Lancer EVO grill $170

other stuff not from rrm
17" OZ F1 cup $1100
Projector head lights $890
or wrc style head lights $ 1000

No, Get it still. It still works a lot better with the Test Pipe than with the original cat. Or get a High Flow Cat!!!!!

Then get the Magnaflow High Flow Cat. Thats what Im gonna wind up doing after I get either the RPW or RRM Header. I know the RPW one is a 4-1 Header. But it cost $195 extra for the ceramic coating. Thats $365 + $195 + $50 (shipping) = $610 total. Still thinking about it.

610 bucks for a cat . . . not cost effective. You can get a basic port and polish job for a bit more.

I think he's talking about the total cost of his header with ceramic coating and shipping baha.
