whats the easiest way to seperate the mas sensor from the box without damaging anything?

 

Your best shot would be to spray some WD40 (or however it might be spelled) onto the bolts then take the socket and with a little force try to loosten the bolts up. I don't think many people, if any on this forum actually removed the MAS without grinding off the plastic walls surrouding.

 

After breaking my first one I did vise grip on the inside and socket on the other side. Worked just fine.

 

Yeah, well I stripped all the walls on mine because of my extreme weakness and grip resistant tools. I did use a socket and wrench but still didn't do much for myself.

 

for which intake is that needed to do...RMR,RRm,Injen,AEM or all of them

 

Has to be the worst f---king design I have ever seen Wasted the airbox when I removed mine. If you have access to an air impact that is your best bet. I finally broke down and borrowed one after I had sheered 3 out the 4 sides on the box.

 

What's up with the odd shaped bolt on the airbox? I was bleeding after the first bolt. Vise grip slipped.
