More tech questions I hope to be answered
Alright, I figured I'd try again after some reading. I already made a post about equipment to find various levels of pressure within the system and if anyone knows what pressure levels work best... there was no response. Here is another set with I think will be a little easier to answer, the only answers to these questions I could find in my research was bits and pieces about carburated engines.
Q: What part modification and type increases more HP or more torque? If you just wanted to increase tq what has the most effect on it, with carbur's it is almost impossible to increase just one or the other, you always get both in almost even amounts with the power curve being dictated by *something* (couldn't find the answer to that either).
For those of you who saw the last set of questions I posted about system pressure and who are interested I found a set of measuring tools one of which is little bottles that "replace" your spark plugs for the testing. You put them in just like you would plugs and then turn your engine over once. You then pull them out and it tells you the pressure in each cylinder on the plug. I haven't been able to find them for Lancer yet but if I do I'll make a post about it. Thanks for any info that can be provided.
