intake question :P

intake question :P

Ok, does anyone know where to get replacment silicone things for the intake piping? i think there called rubber grommets...but im not sure. i need to replace mine and cant seem to find anywhere that offers them. can anyone give me a site?

You may try the vendor of the intake. For instance AEM.....

i tried thier website and couldnt find anything, i tried the web, autozone even lowes to try to get rubber ones, but those wouldnt fit.

I might end up putting the stock rubber pipping back on, with the cone filter and heat shield...would that stock pipe make a differance between the aluminum pipe?

It probably would be hard to find those on websites it would probably be better to call the company like AEM or maybe RMR or RRM they might be a better bet.

they are called "sleeves" you can find them almost anywhere depending what kind your looking for. silicone ones eventually dry n crack open quicker. but ill try to post some sites for you. ebay is quick

As far as using the stock pipe with the cone filter and heat shield, will that damper any performance? i mean thats esentially what rrm's short ram intake is right? atleast untill i get some more sleeves?
