Crane Camshaft and ignition

Guys check out Crane...we may be able to use the distributorless ignition they sell, plus they may be able to make a camshaft for us if we bug them enough!!!

RPW already has the camshafts for the vehicle already. We have started a production run on billets right now and ocne that is done begin developing the cam grinds. Anyone wanting to order one for a N/A or turbo grind can order them from vision imports anytime you wish.

Odds are you're not going to see any ignition tuning packages from anyone. Mitsu doesn't wanna sell their proprietary coil technology out to anybody and nobody wants to pay Mitsu royalties for hacking their coils open. Lose/Lose for tuning.

Prob. won't be too much, but like other mods, adding to existing mods and then tuning with a S-AFC would show the best results.

actually the way the oz is tuned i would think cams would give very good gains with a otherwise stock car i would think it would be doable to get perhaps 20 hp peak in the high end without suffering driveabillity problems at low rpm now someone who knows can correct me but as i understand it the lancer is cammed pretty conservtively but yes as you guys said it would also bring out more power from other mods cumulatively. now please don't take this as me spouting my mouth off about what i don't know because i don't know the profile #s for the lancer. i'm just working off past experience

RPW supposedly has all sorts of fun tidbits in production. Don't look for Lancer OZ or whatever, just use the engine code: 4G94 16 V SOHC. Pretty much any part made for the 'G94 is going to be based on the last US 5G Mirage engine the 'G93. Our engine just has more displacement.

I need to do a whole website update but the pricing for 99% of the Lancer 2.0 4G94 stuff is going to be the same as the 4G93 Lancer / Mirage as most of the gear is teh same as teh 4G93 but has been revised.

Ie the camshaft is exactly the same as the 4G93 camshaft but has different duration and lift specs. The physical dimensions are the same.
