Thinking of selling my Lancer?

The Lancer is a great car but the power just isn't there. I am too broke to buy turbo so basically I won't get the power im looking for. My parents offered me their 1995 BMW 530i (E34) with a new V8 and Dinan chip if I agree to sell my Lancer and give 9,000 of the sales to my parents. My Lancer is lowered with Tein S-techs, Tint, Headunit and Speakers, Axel Back Exhaust, RRM sri, and 17 inch Exel rims (Gunmetal with polished lip). I like the look of my Lancer more than the BMW but the BMW is putting down 252 hp to the wheels. The Lancer has 27,000 miles on it. What should I do? and if I sell how much should I ask for? Thanks

Just out of curiousity, have you considered selling the Beamer? It's probably worth nearly as much (though I haven't blue booked it). If you want more power, that's a cheap way to get it (free is good). If you want comfort, I'm sure it wins again. If you want handling, you're probably better off in the Lancer.

Decide what you want most and go with that. You're parents are essentially going to sell a Lancer or sell the 530. They're giving you the choice - they keep the money and you keep one car.

an 03 OZ with 27k miles books for around 10k... usually you don't see anything out of the mods you put into it unless you wait for the right buyer... but most people into performance mods are going to want something faster than an OZ but good luck to ya

Thanks guys, yeah the maitenence on BMW's sucks, but I really like the car after driving it this past week. Now if I find a buyer I will be one step closer to starting a new project.
