Rrm

While reading posts, it seems that in so many posts people ask RRM to make special stuff for the lancer. In some responses though people say that you cant keep asking RRM to make stuff for whatever reason they have. But I look at the questions as a respect for RRM. To ask a company to make something and then promising to purchase it before even seeing it, that sounds to me like people have mad respect for RRM. After reading everyones post about how great RRM is, it has already made up my mind, and i would rather buy from RRM who will be thier and help you then a big company that when you call you get the automated system with no help. I guess the point of this post was just to send props and thanks to Rock and RRM. The job he/they do is outstanding and i think it is great that he/they do what he does.

The problem is they don't have the manpower to make a million things at once. Rob is ALWAYS working on new stuff. I think the thing is that people ask RRM to make things that they normally do not do (i.e. body mods). And yes, RRM is doing a fantastic job of keeping up with requests, service etc. AND they run a shop. If you think about it though, the cat-back section still isn't out (even after the theft of the initial prototype) and I doubt it'd due to lack of time invested. They have so many projects and side projects (header, pistons, con rods etc) that adding more to the equation seems like pouring cups of water into a funnel. They get so much input that their output can only be so much. Again, they're doing a great job, but it seems like they're being overwhelmed with requests for parts they wouldn't normally be making.

Well, my thinking is that RRM is pretty pragmatic. They build based on necessity from what I've noticed looking at their shop cars. Rob seems to be interested in 2 things: Going fast and carbon fiber! As I see it it's akin to asking hostess to make you a loaf of bread. They COULD do it, but they usually make cupcakes. Let em do what they're best at and throw bones to other companies to drum up interest from elsewhere as well. I love what RRM does for us, but they're no the only company out there.

EDIT: Damn, now I want some cupcakes.

I agree. RRM does a great job, for the time they have, answering the public in request for certain products.

Keep up the good work.

Didnt know the prototype was stolen, was it on a vehicle when stolen or stolen from the shop. Thats BS,I hate thieves and I hate thieves who steal from good honest and hard working people even more.

The sad thing is that the thief might be a Lancer owner, guess there is always one rotten apple in the barrel

BTW Rock what is youre mailing address so I can send you guys a X-mas card with my car on the front.

Yeah, the thief was a lancer owner and he also stole some things for a turbo setup if I'm not wrong..

Actually, Rob posted about it. The story's a bit worse than that. If you run a search for it you may be able to find it.
