does anyone make something like the evo 8 for a 03 lancer or any projector head light ?

 

only ones that we can use are overseas and cost over 1000 so basically NO.

next time do a SEARCH.

 

i dont think we'll ever get them made=( They have forgotten about lancers. I swear, every other f*ckin japanese made import has projector headlights, HONDA, omg, they get everything. yeah i'm complaining. Our car is much sicker than a civic, look at our history of evolutions.

i hear ya loud and clear, the only thing i have seen anywhere near close is those black housings on road race. we definently got the shaft on the lights guys. but still, lights or no lights, we are definently one of the most looked @ imports on the market.

 

when i went to sema last year 3 different places told me they were working on projectors for the lancer. 1 year later, and still nothing. dosent look like they'll be made any time soon, or even if that.

 

The Lancer doesnt have a history of anything besides being a popular rental car.

It's not an Evo.

 

Aren't projector headlights the same as the jdm ones that everyone else has with HID?

 

are you talking about teh ones drummerjun sells? if so, then no. the ones he sells doesnt have a projector in it.

 

Oh ok I wasn't sure if they were the same or not.

my friend did customs on his mirage.. dont think anyone makes em for the mirage anyways... so he mae his own....hmm i might be able to get his brothers shop to do it.... i wonder...any suggestions on design, cuz if i could get a list of peeps interested i might be able to push for the project.. maybe projectors and halos for the turns??? that coud get expensive.. lol but let me kno this could happen if we get like 20 peeps.... maybe no promise but just maybe..,..how much do jdms cost id like to have a prototype made and then maybe hell make more... but as long as im thinking of this... might as well make them jdm look and ****....

 

theres a website called "retrohid.com" i believe. i went there, and this guy does like custom headlight jobs, inserting projector lenses in stock headlights - although he told me he could not make the housing, he can put a projector in part of your headlight,its expensive though. u'll spend more money, MUCH more money gettin him to do a custom job, than u would paying for black housing headlamps or assuming someone will produce projectors for us - more than they would charge. making a long story short. .it'll be around $500 or something.
PS: oh and apparently this other website i found that "claimed" to sell projectors, said they stop making/selling them, cause there wasn't a "high enough demand" for them. DUDE> everyone who has a lancer wants projector lamps. am i right? or what.

obx already had the projectors listed in their new catalog. i wonder what ever happened with that. hmm................

 

thast who i'm talking about. THe company website i viewed, said that OBX made the projectors, but stopped producing them, b/c there was a lack of demand. Lack of demand my ***, i know theres probably atleast 200 people on this site atleast that would pay for projectors . It's not fair.
