Thumbs down Evolution Imports Price Quote.

Just thought I'd share this with everyone. I sent an e-mail to Evolution Imports about a month ago requesting an estimate on the price of one of their US converted Lancer Evo VII's here's the reply back.

>The current price is $48,900 which includes shipping, conversion, and an aftermarket ECU. They are estimated to be ready to ship to customer in late February to March.

That is straight from Adam of Evolution Imports, that sounds kinda high even with an aftermarket ECU. I hope this isn't an indication of how the price will be when Mitsu brings it over at the end of 2002/2003. There is no way i'm gonna pay 48,900 for the Evo. If Mitsu brings it over at 25 to 28,000 I'm definetly trading in my Eclipse spyder.

Forget that!

Just wait for Mitsubishi of America to sell you the Evo7 for $30k or less.
For $48k, it's not worth it, unless it's a full out GrpN car.

Talking

a used group N by rallycars.com is still being sold at $40,000++ so, It is better if Mitsu imports it, but too expensive if individually imported.

Actually.
That price is for LanEvo 6 black, Tommi Maniken Edition from what Adam replied to me.
Which is slightly expensive considering it is a beats ready to rip the road apart.

Just my 2 cents.
