Unhappy Crisis

To who it may concern: I bought a 2002 Lancer OZ in feburary, and since then i have driven it a month. I have been out of the country working and was supossed to be back Dec 1 2002. After a long talk with my boss, i am being sent to Frankfurt for 2 years. So now i am left with a decision: keep the car and wait until i get back or sell it? i am so lost as to what to do. can anyone provide some insight? i have waited 7 months for my SRGT body kit and finally it arrives but only for me to be never coming home. damn that sucks. i am debating on whether to sell the kti by itself or put in on the car and try to sell the car pimped out. too many choices. i need some assistance.

Is it possible for you to have the car shipped to Frankfurt?

sell the kit and car separately and then get another car when you come back . . . 2 years is a long time to have a car sitting around - - who knows, maybe when you come back you can get an evo

Eh...it's nice and all, but it's not that nice. Not like he couldn't buy a used one if and when he returns to the states.

If you can't get the car shipped to you, I'd say go ahead and sell it. Even though you already have the body kit and what not, like everyone else has said before me, 2 years is a long time to wait on a car. At the very least you might as well have a 2004 Lancer, you know what I mean? Sorry to hear about your circumstances though.

cut your losses now, sell it before the car deprecitates even more then put the money aside for a down payment on either a new lancer when you get here (if that's what you plan on doing then keep the kit) or get yourself a brand spanking new 04 Evo.

They should be here by then but who knows what it planing??
